Human blood immune-cell ERV/TE reference

ERVAtlas

A confound-aware atlas, not an aging-clock claim.

Explore single-cell, locus-resolved endogenous retrovirus and transposable-element expression across human blood immune cell types and donor age, built from 84 donors and 9 immune cell types.

84donors
9cell types
90age tests
0partial FDR<0.10

Reference matrix: donor × cell type × ERV/TE family, with explicit confound control.

Read this before interpreting any association. Of 90 cell-type × ERV-family age associations tested, 0 pass FDR<0.10 on raw correlation and 0 pass FDR<0.10 after controlling for sequencing depth and cell count. This atlas does not describe a validated ERV aging clock. The robust signal in this cohort is CMV serostatus ↔ inflammaging (r=0.53, p=4e-9), reported here as a resource for further research.
